Peer Grading

After evaluating a peer's timed write, choose one of the last 3 timed writes to revise, type in MLA format, and turn in by Wednesday, February 15. (Roosevelt, Reilly, Barry)

Final Lit Circle

Prep Time- Take a few minutes to make some notations or bookmark some passages in response to these discussion starters:
  • Why is this topic important? What kind of lasting impact could this have on you?

  • How did the author present this information to the reader? What methods of rhetoric did you notice that helped this author to further his/her purpose?

  • For that matter, what IS the author's purpose?

  • As a literary critic, what would you say about this author and this particular text? Was this work effective?

Evaluation Buddies! Put 2 lit circle groups together- inside/outside style. Each person in the outer circle evaluates a person on the inner circle using the rubric.
